NS3G – Nurturing Scholars across 3 Generations

Our youth are the foundation for the future. We must start now educating them on how to properly manage money.

Never Stop Growing

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), a U.S. government agency, recommends starting educating youth as early as the age of 3 years old. Statically, many youths do not start thinking about and managing their finances until they enter college.

NSG is dedicated to supporting and educating parents and youth to increase their financial knowledge, skills, and form lasting good financial habits. NSG encourages all to start the conversation today to form those habits; habits and lessons that are the foundation for our youth financial growth.

When children are ages…

  • 3 to 5, help them learn to stay focused and that they may have to wait to buy something they want.
  • 6 to 10, help them with day-to-day habits and that they need to make choices about how to spend money.
  • 11 – 13, the sooner they save, the faster their money can grow.
  • 14 to 21, give them chances to make money choices, when comparing colleges, be sure they consider the cost of the college, and allow them to experience natural consequences, and reflect on their decisions.

Our NS3G program spans generations by connecting eager youth, supportive parents, and wise grandparents. As participants embark on their financial education journeys, parents contribute to family legacies, shaping an environment of encouragement and support. Simultaneously, grandparents provide a wealth of wisdom, creating an intergenerational community of learning. Our holistic approach ensures that knowledge, values, and aspirations are passed down, fostering a legacy of empowerment that resonates through multiple generations.

Educating youth on banking, student loans, saving, and other financial areas directly related to youth development. NSG programs can assist with starting to build the foundation necessary for a successful financial life.

We have classes and programs customized for youth. Sign up for our next classes or schedule for one of our counselors to come out.
