Our Story
The NSG Foundation unfolds as a narrative of love and resilience between Khari Alimayu and his wife, Neffie Gatewood Alimayu. Faced with financial challenges during their upbringing, both worked tirelessly to secure a prosperous future and establish a lasting legacy for their family. Recognizing a common lack of financial knowledge among their family and friends, they embarked on a journey of self-education and outreach.
As they worked to learn more and help their personal family and friends, Khari and Neffie noticed that many people around them also did not have a great understanding of money, and they quickly realized that there was a big need for this knowledge in their community. While they’ve made progress, there’s still a lot to do. Their main goal is to make sure that the important financial information reaches the people in the community who need it the most.
